VCE DANCE

15 - 19 years old | Year 10 - 12

VCE Dance develops students’ understanding and appreciation of dance as an art form through participation in theoretical classes, practical workshops and performances.

VCE Dance is open to students studying in years 10, 11 and 12. From all secondary schools across Melbourne.

VCE Dance study is comprised of 4 units. Units 1, 2, 3 and 4.  Each Unit explores areas such as safe dance practices, dancer's health and wellbeing, appreciating dance, personal expression and movement potential and learnt choreography that allows students to achieve the objectives outlined by VCAA.

Miss Danielle Taylor is a youthful, vibrant and passionate tutor of VCE Dance. My journey with VCE Dance commenced when I undertook the Study with outstanding success in secondary school. This ignited and inspired my journey into dance and performing arts education. I have been blessed to now work with students in secondary schools and private provider settings around Melbourne. I am also the proud director of Dream Dance Academy. It is my mission is to ensure that every student feels inspired to pursue their dream. Whatever that might be.
